Valerie Reynolds is a photographer and person who loves Sudan. She has visited Sudan several times, including Khartoum as Financial Management Officer at the US Embassy from 2009-2011. She had an exhibition of her Sudan photographs at the Rashid Diab Gallery in Gereif in July 2011.
By looking through a lens of love, Valerie hopes to inspire positive perceptions of Sudan and its people and culture.

Al Moataz M. Hamdan is a Sudanese visual artist born in 1967. After finishing high school, he decided to take several drawing courses as he realized that art was his
passion. He taught art classes in the Khartoum International Community School
for 7 consecutive years. Hamdan held and participated in several solo & group
exhibitions in Sudan in various renowned galleries such as Shams gallery, Dabanga
gallery, Mojo gallery, Narti gallery and the French Cultural Institute. Abroad Hamdan
exhibited in Egypt, Ethiopia, Italy, Turkiye and Nigeria.
A Sudanese visual artist, he graduated from the College of Education and Arts at Sudan University of Science and Technology in 2009. His work is inspired by the nature and aesthetics of the Sudanese environment.
His artistic project is based on the realist school, where he excels in using watercolors and unconventional techniques such as "coffee painting" to document the details of daily life, traditional clothing, and vibrant Sudanese markets. Thanks to his rich artistic career and experience in teaching art, his paintings have found their way into private and institutional art collections around the world, from Africa and the Middle East to Europe and Brazil, representing a contemporary voice of Sudanese identity on the international stage.

Abdelrahman Salah
Atif Saad Khalafallah is a Sudanese visual artist and photographer with over 20 years of experience in photography, videography, drone documentation, and sculpture. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Sculpture, from Sudan University, earned in 1988. His artistic background gives his visual work a distinctive sensitivity to form, space, texture, and composition. Through his photography, he documents Sudan’s landscapes, heritage, culture, and people, combining documentary precision with a strong expressive vision. His work has received recognition both locally and internationally, including several notable awards.

Mayada Ahmed is a Sudanese emerging artist with a passion for drawing and painting. Her artistic journey began in high school, where she discovered the joy of expressing herself through art. Her work is inspired by the beauty of everyday life, with a particular interest in still life painting. She enjoys exploring light, colour, texture, and form, and finding beauty in simple objects and quiet moments. Mayada sees each painting as an opportunity to learn, experiment, and discover her own artistic voice. Through her work, she hopes to share her way of seeing the world and create paintings that feel simple, personal, and meaningful.
